Ivan grew up in Kansas as a pastor’s kid in the Friends Church and was involved in Mid-America Yearly Meeting from an early age, shaping his heart for mobilizing the American church toward local mission. After moving to Southern California and completing the NCP / EFM disciple-making apprenticeship, he now serves on NCP’s staff as a local missionary. Ivan enjoys anything that gives him a thoughtful challenge and stretches his brain—from published thinkers, conversations with friends, cross-faith ministry, and beyond. But above all, Ivan loves pretty much anything involving his amazing partner for life, Viany!
